The living desert
When we were in Indio, at the beginning of the week, we went to the living desert. It was very cool. We saw all kinds of animals who live in the desert. We also saw poison dart frogs, a mountain lion, coyotes, owls, foxes , road runners, and other animals. We had lots of fun. We even got to play on African drums.Ben

Ben: We're glad you got to go to the Living Desert while you were here. I thought you'd really enjoy it. It's turned cold here. There is snow on the mountains. Hope it is warm where you are. We're happy we got to see you and we'll have to try to meet up again. Won't be long until Santa comes.
